I'll be taking the family to Hurricane Harbor in Dallas this weekend.  While I'm down there I'd like to pick up some powder and primers.  Things hard for me to get locally and I really don't like paying a HAZMAT fee if I can avoid it.  So...  Where's some places that I can go that are on that side of town?

HH is in Arlington, across from SIX FLAGS.

ALPINE GUN RANGE is the place to go... south of I20 and Anglin.

FROM HH----- take 360 south to I20.  Take I20 WEST to FT WORTH. Exit Anglin Rd and I20... after the first stop sign take an immediate left(south) on ANGLIN.  Take it south till it dead ends.  You will have to turn right(west).  Take an immediate left and go to dead end.  Turn Left(east).  Follow it to Alpine.

If you need more info... call them at 817 478 6613.  Ask for STEVE ALLEN, tell him I sent you.

Good luck.

Cabella's has tons of reloading suppies at good prices.  The powder and primers are a bit high, but everything else is about at Midway cost.
If you ever get out to TACPRO, they have great prices on bullets.

Cabellas is your best bit.  Alpine is way out of the way for where you are going.  There always is Arlington Arms on Park Row and Collins, but it is kind of out of the way as well.

Thanks for all the info guys.  I think that I'll try to hit Cabelas on the way down there.

There used to be a small reloading place just blocks from HH.  It's called the Reloading Bench. Its on the corner of Lamar and Baird Farm Rd. Address:   1902b Baird Farm Rd, Arlington, TX 76006  Phone: (972) 790-6900. I don't know if they're still there. Also, there's a small gunshop two doors down. Mostly a collectors type stuff for sale. A German guy runs it, and I've seen him working the shows. Usually has german era WW2 stuff. Big into P-08's and P-38.
