we're trying to weed out all the 'undesireables' that would rather watch football than eat bbq, shoot and drink mass quantities of alcoholic beverages in excellent company.......................

Sounds like a similar weekend, just trade shooting for football....

Fortunatly, I can shoot every weekend. Unfortunatly, OU/TEXAS is once a year.

Boomer Sooner!!!

(I will add, losing 11 players to the NFL draft has the making of a no-so-fun weekend in Dallas for us Sooner fans)

It did go well (except for shirts), but attendance was much lower than Gunstock 2003.

Not sure where this legend got started, but attendance was actually similar for both years.

I was standing next to one of the owners when he said it. Maybe he meant pre-registrations or something else. It also seemed like a lot less to me, based on cars parked, food line, people I know who went to first one but not second, etc.

Glad to here it was actually well attended.

So you trade getting out of the house and enjoying yourself by doing something v.s. sitting on the duff to watch a semi-pro football game and getting pizzed off that OU makes it 6 in a row over MetroSexual High School.

In defense of TexRdnec - he personally objected to the severe amount of alcohol spillage induced by the maniac driver of the truck (Ranger8541?). I dunno. Could have been TRG as well. Either way, the driver was a nutcase. I thought he was jumping into the cab to give them a piece of his mind, but now it looks like there could have been some ghey overtones to his head being in the backseater's lap. Thinking about it - he was in that position an awfully long time....

Maybe we can try with paintballs this time instead!!!  Or how about airsoft, I hear that's the latest rage.  Which team are you on, red or blue?
