I simply CANNOT imagine that there are ANY Texas ARFCOMERS who are NOT coming to Gunstock!
Has our great State fallen so wickedly as to become a refuge for Lacklusters and Ne'er-do-wells? If you can't make it to Waco for Gunstock for legitimate reasons, then you are forgiven. A LONG drive ? Are you friggin nuts? GIBrat, the Gloftoes and I drove TWENTY-FOUR HOURS to go to Bulletfest in Ohio. And you can't/won't drive up from whereever to hang out, shoot and get drunk? Jeez. |

Rescue Diver is a cool class. It's even slightly better than Divemaster class in my opinion - IF you've got a good instructor. Now back to your regular thread.... |

You can pay when you get there. However its cheaper if you pre-reg, and it gives us an idea of how much food we need to serve the masses, along with capitol to better orginize the event . Yuo can even reg with a credit card |

We're having a baby within the next week or so. Somehow I doubt a weekend shooting trip would be encouraged by my better half.

I have been assured that there will be paramedics there. So you can bring your wife. If she has the baby there, she will be in the best of hands. I mean, who would you trust more, a paramedic, or a doctor named Dilpak? Also, if the baby is born there, you could name it Arfy. |

Very encouraging, and a line of reason that might sway me (but not my wife). Actually, there's a very good chance she'll have had the baby by then, which makes even LESS likely that I'll get out of the house.
I already have a daughter with the initials "AK." I lobbied to name this one "Eugene" or "Eugenia" (depending on gender), but unsurprisingly that got vetoed. I also tried "John Moses" and "Townes" (no gun connection, but a strong Texas connection) with no luck. But this one is supposed to be a girl, and a girl named Moses probably wouldn't be too popular. Hope all of you have fun in Waco. Stop by Tony Demaria's for some barbeque if you get a chance. |

Well, I am living in Texas. (Just bought a house here, in fact. First time homeowner, woohoo!) I do love living in a state that has a much better attitude about guns than my home state. (MI) So, sir, I humbly accept the title of Texan, and pledge to uphold and defend the honor of my adopted state. (but Michigan will always be home. My momma/grandma would whup my backside if I didn't remember the way home once in a while, and unlike a few others of my age group, I learned to RESPECT my elders.) |

Naaa Man, it gives you a reason to fire up the 4x4's and 4x4 ATVs! Were so used to not having ice/snow that when it finally happens they call all the squad cars in unless theres an emergency...And me running the streets is not such! LOL...I wish to get completely snowed in for a week.
