I'll lead it off.
A vendor tried to tell me that a Saiga 12 guage was a one-of-a-kind that was custom made from an AK-47 in his shop. The 'IZHMASH ' stamp was as plain as day on the side.  Did anyone else hear any other knee deep BS stories? wganz ¶ |

I had a guy tell me how good his Hexxe ar15 was. Wanted almost $1000 for it. I smiled and walked away while he was still talking.

Anytime I see a used Colt SP1 priced at over $1000, I know I am going to hear a BS line.

Yeah, the CDNN guy quoted me $75 for his, they $40 or less all over the Internet, and as you pointed out, all over the show. |

Didn't realy talk to any vendors other than Model 1 Sales. But I did see that the price for Bushy LEO AR15A4s had gone up $100.00 since Big Town last week.
I did ask the guy at the Model 1 sales table to check the headspace on the M4A3 upper for me and he told me they had all been checked as he was grabbing a bolt and carrier out of a pile and I had pulled the upper out of the rack. Uh OK what ever!hinking.gif |

Was looking at a Bushmaster Mforgery with an Ace socom stock, asked the dealer how much? Thought he said $750, asked again to confirm the price as I reached for my cash. He said "$1750". Cocked and Locked started laughing and I could'nt keep a straight face, guy said "It's on a per-ban reciever". He would'nt look at us the next time we passed.

made out better today though
Picked up a 1972, series 70, satin nickle, govt model with real stag that is so tight I had trouble getting the collet bushing out, for 600 out the door
