Just watched Nightline and Ted  Coppel had the LA police chief and senior VP from NRA.  The LA chief is an idoit for not doing his homework on what the ban is.  Everyone in the fuuuu?k-up news reporting field keep saying when the ban dies automatic weapons will be available to buy again.  The lady from the NRA said some good things and slamed Ted and the LA chief, but she did not say the ban has nothing to do with automatic weapons.  It just prevents from having 3 items on certin semi-auto weapon made after '94.

People need to question reporters as thoes dickheads only say what will sell.

from MADD website
It is estimated that 2.6 million drunk driving crashes each year will victimize 4 million innocent people. Drunk driving has earned its loathsome distinction as America's most frequently committed violent crime.
When are they going to do something about that.

Fireblade,

The thing I don't understand is why all these folks from CA are getting ANY face time!

Everybody who has read the copy knows that CA is heavily regulated, and the sunset of the Federal ban will not affect them the least.

Ted almost in no time showed the bad guys from the bank robbery in North Hollywood and some Marines firing full auto M16's and the words Assault Rifles had come out of his mouth.  ABC has a bigger agenda, all guns should be ban, not just the evil ones.  How can a television station continue to commit outright lies.  They should have their license revolked.  ABC has a letter coming stating I will never view their programs again, ever.
