Congressional District 17 (Burleson/Waco area):
Arlene Wolgemuth (R) - NRA A-rated, endorsed by NRA and TSRA - 10 years of pro-gun and pro-hunting votes in the Texas House, never been on the wrong side of TSRA.

Chet Edwards (D) - NRA F-rated. Supported Brady position 55% of the time since 1991.

Congressional District 32 (Dallas White Rock area):
Pete Sessions (R) - NRA A+, endorsed by NRA and TSRA. Supported Brady position 0% of the time since 1991.

Martin Frost (D) - NRA F-rated. Supported Brady Campaign position 65% of the time since 1991.

State House District 50 (south of San Antonio):
Eric Opiela (R) - TSRA and NRA endorsed, also endorsed by the Democratic incumbent who held this seat previously.

Democratic candidate refused to return TSRA survey. Defeated previous Democratic candidate in primary by claiming he was too conservative.

State House District 58 (south of Ft. Worth):
Rob Orr (R) - TSRA A-rated and endorsed by TSRA.

Gregg Kaufman (D) - TSRA C-rated

State House District 118 (San Antonio):
Steve Salyer (R) - returned a good TSRA questionnaire, no rating yet.

Carlos Uresti (D) - TSRA D-rated, indicated on TSRA questionnaire he would support ballistic fingerprinting, mandatory triggerlocks, state level assault weapons ban.

State House District 43 (Kleberg, Kenedy, Willacy, Brooks, Jim Hogg, and Cameron counties):
Juan Escobar (D) - TSRA D-rated based on last legislative session, refused to return questionnaire.

Maj. John Hubert (R) - Currently serving in a reserve Special Forces Civil Affairs unit on active duty in northern Iraq and running a long distance campaign. Also served as tank platoon commander during first Gulf War where he won a Bronze Star. TSRA A-rated based on returned questionnaire with additional well-thought out comments added.

In addition to being squarely on our side, Maj. Hubert's campaign could use any time or money you might be able to donate since he is running it with his wife's help even as he is fighting for us in Iraq.
