Im heading out to the Texas mid to late june for family reunion.  Are there any funny municipality thingies i have to worry about?  I'd be bringing rifle and handgun with CCW.  now i have to double check reciprocity.

Nah, we're actually a fairly normal city.  

There aren't any weird gun laws here that I know of.

Texas has preemption laws soooo U don't have to worry about "municipality thingies".

Absolutely!  No municipality can make any gun laws that contradict the laws of the State of Texas!  And boy, doesn't it piss off the Brady campaign?
