I am in the need for some 7.62X54r and Makarov ammo This weekend.  The Mesquite Rodeo Funshow is a pretty good distance from me and I was disappointed at the last one.  Any local shops stock sardine cans of this stuff?

For good buys on ammo, please consider:

Old Gun Supply, Fort Worth.  Eric Vorbeck has some particularly good prices, and not just on ammo.  He has good deals on firearms, too.

Cheaper Than Dirt, Fort Worth.  While Eric's place is just inside the east loop south of I30, CTD is at the SW corner of the intersection of I35 and North Loop 820.

Eric would be my first choice.

You can find probably the best ammo deals at the Market Hall gunshow.  Next one is Nov. 29-30.
