Hey,

A buddy of mine was passing through DFW to take his wife shopping today and then they were going to meet up with us for dinner.

Well, he called me in the early afternoon and said "Guess what I just got done doing?"  "I rented an MP5"   Yeah...thanks for calling me afterwards....

Anyway, they got lost while trying to find a store for her and passed a place on Wilshire (don't know where that is) called something like "The Shooting Place"  (yep...he called me and couldn't remember the name of the place)

I am trying to decide on what FA I want to buy and so have been wanting to rent one in the DFW area... anyone know where this place is?

I have been planning to get over to DFW Gun Range because I know they have some as well, but wanted to know if there was another option.

 IIRC, DFW Gun Range is at the intersection of Mockingbird and Wilshire.

  DFW Gun Range is at Mockingbird and Oakbrook.  Wilshire is off JJ Lemmon, not Lemmon Ave., between Paul Quinn and I-20.  I don't think there's a range in that part of town...probably 10 miles south of downtown.  There is a Wilshire a couple miles west of Mockingbird/35 though.

 I stand corrected.  Then I don't know where the hell it is.  You boys in Dallas should know it.

He said that they told him that they just opened recently and asked how he had heard about them... so I guess there is a new range over there.... I'll have to drive up and down Wilshire I guess
