sure i will be back in town about 11-12:00pm. this reliant show is small so we can do it in about 1 hr then get some lunch. do you have my cell number?

Wood, This is the HGCA show. I don't think it's gonna be as small as you might imagine. I plan to be there early and I'll have my daughter with me...so y'all behave.. |

i don't think this is the big 500 table show. is it?
usually it is about 100-200 tables. just guessing. |

Why do you think it will be small? This is the HGCA Summer Show and Military Collectables Show.
Of course when it was in the Astro Hall, the June Show, was one of the biggest shows of the year. With the changes made at the Reliant Center, it may be smaller, but will be larger than 200 tables. I'll be there, Saturday morning, probably leave aroung 2:00 - 3:00 pm. |

That souds like a good plan...I'm going to the hunting show with my new hunting girlie but I think I'll have to make time for the gunshow too since I'm in the market for a Remington 700 LTR in 308. Man this has just made my day!!!

I'm planning on being there, but I heard parking is gonna be like $11 on Sat. due to the Metallica concert that night. They might refund some of the parking fee to gun show patrons, but I'm not sure. This may all be rumor--can anyone confirm?
Anyone got 2-4 USGI 20 rd mags they want to sell cheap? That's what I'll be looking for @ the show. Will they be selling ammo at this one? |

At the last Pasadena show they were passing out little slips of paper that said something about giving a parking rebate when you showed them your parking slip. (I always that you had to display that on your dash) No ammo. |

From the mailer I got Parking is $7.00/day except on Saturday, August 2, parking will be $12.00/day starting at 2PM. For $5.00 parking refund on Saturday only, you must redeem your parking stub when presenting or buying your gun show ticket at the ticket window. … Tickets - $6.00 Adults; $3.00 under 12 years SSD |

Me and my daughter will be there at 9 am.
She'll be 15 next week even though she's as tall as my bride...yes, she's cute and loves guns, and likes to shoot pistols and my Thompson...but you'll have to wait until she graduates from veterinarian school!!! Any questions? See y'all tomorrow. |

Guess I should've checked the board this morning before I left the house to find out the meeting place/dress code.
I got there about 11:45 and didn't leave 'til about 1:45. I was trying to keep my eyes peeled for y'all while looking for 20-rd mags--only I was looking for those Team Texas ar-15.com caps. Pretty good show, I thought. I sure wish I would've had a big pile of money and all day to spend there, but I'm on a sorta tight budget, and had to get to Lowe's and find a garbage disposal and get home to get it installed. Oh well, I'll catch up with y'all sometime. Hooters sounds fun Tues. nite, but I'd have an hour drive afterwards and have to work Wed. morning @6:30 (also an hour commute) bummer. What did y'all think of prices etc? I found 2 Universal USGI 20 rd mags for $20 each from the old one eyed guy on the far end from the doors. He wanted $25 for some Colt 20's he had. I saw some 20's (Okay, IIRC) for like $39 (sign said "rare")what BS! Lots of 30 rd mags around at about $30, not many 20's (maybe they are rare, I dunno). What's a .22 lr upper worth? I saw some for like $419--is that reasonable? better cut this off before it gets too long. See y'all around Wade |
