Watch out! Lots of people on this board that will call you a moron, stupid, etc for giving it a shot. Yeah, it's a HUGE long shot.
Me? I'll take the chance. I'm betting the naysayers have never gambled in their lives. Me? I play poker, gamble in Vegas when I can make it, and play the lottery every so often. Good luck! |

My wife's former boss (very wealthy) use to say it was a tax on the ignorant. A family friend had a son win 50 thousand buck's on publishers clearing house. So now, I claim to be ignorant and the lotto and me are hanging out trying to meet each other and consummate a relationship :)

Look at it this way.
Most folks that say its a tax on the ignorant will never win. All the folks that have won so far will say different. Me personally. I only play when its over 20mil. Probably happened 7-10 times this year. I play a $5 ticket each time. I have won $102 last Feb. I have not counted, but an educated guess, I have won $5 3-4 times. And just last Fri. drawing of TX 2 Step, I won $52. In CA I won $500. Yep. I'm pretty fucking ignorant alright. gloftoe, I hear ya bud. I gamble on a daily basis. Walking out the door, getting into a car and driving is a gamble. Its a matter of what is an acceptable risk to you. Risk vs Reward. The greater the risk, the better the reward. Really surprises me about this crowd. We take the greatest risk of all. Most of us have a CCW. We risk taking someones life. Yet no one dares risk a $1?!?! |

I think you miss read my post... I am all about this loto and power ball deal... The people I know are the sissies... when I strike it big (no illusions, just wishfull thinking) I will remember you all :) Also, I am like you, broke even, I won 1K in Virgina when I was stationed there on a scratcher but I concidered it re-payment from trying to hit it big in the past. So I am a little ahead and plan on "re-comping" my cash by winning SOMETHING LOL... c sends |

Thanks Glof...proxy sites do not work as they are registered in the filtering...have not tried ar15.com and have to stealth in here under jobrelatedstuffDOTcom
No more than a single match...not even a single powerball. scrap paper... And yes, its a game of chance. I don't gamble and when I do not drink, I buy a ticket or two. I have disposable income of about a dollar a week. |
