Drove by the PSA building yesterday. There were several vehicles outside. The large bay doors were opened. It is not sitting inactive.

Yeah, This was a FYI since most vendors give a date and never come close to meeting it. PSA is actively getting it ready. Now do we take the over/under on completion date?

Well I live just down the road 5 minutes from their and go by that location all the time and It's been awhile since I've seen any activity at the store.

Realistically August, our construction crews are finishing up the ammo plant and then jump to MB.

I've always been interested as to what was in an indoor range's walls. Something has to prevent limp wrist dweebs from shooting up the parking lot.

ON US 17 bypass just north of US 501 in Myrtle Beach, SC.

It will be in the old SUN NEWS HQ and Printing plant.

....and the building is gutted. I am wondering if that part is going to be the range. Speaking of the gun range, technically it isn't in the City. So it doesn't have to deal with the regulations.

I don't mind these donut holes within the city until you have to deal with Pine Island.

Actually, its usually Concrete block, (sometimes blended lightweight) filed with 3000PSI pea gravel grout mix.

PS: Jman, I have HRA Garands your staff might want to look at. An HRA trigger and other parts are slightly different from the other M1 Garand makers parts. I'm a long time member of the GCA.

PPS: Progress at the old Akebono Brake plant is coming along nicely. I don't live too far from there. At one time I worked for a construction company that did projects for Akebono at that plant and I was allowed inside a couple of times.

Taking the kiddos to MB in mid August.

Hopefully they'll be open for business by then!

Well, looks like they've already started shorting the Columbia store to stock the MB store.....

How can the Columbia store get any more short?

Nothing but High Points and Cuck Rifle Coffee left?

Their restock shipments are even lighter, especially with Magpul stuff and AR parts.

Well, this thread is one year old, and still no opening date or announcement of same. Looks like they must be on the "dollar down and dollar when you can" construction plan, with money from the coffers.

might be waiting on the permit police and such. everything in this state seems to drag ass. from what a couple business owners tell me.

No, they have been working just about every day. The delay according to previous posts was from PSA purchasing another facility for manufacturing (I think Ammo). The front is actually an addition.

Any idea on how long the range will be? 25yd? 50yd?

Good question. I have no idea. The building is huge. I can ask a couple people I know that will be working there. Maybe they will know.

not sure.  I do know they are still hiring.  Spoke to the Hiring manager at the Gathering.  a few weeks ago.   He said 160 positions open between Myrtle Beach and Columbia.  and not sure if that's including the Florence location that is gonna be built.

That number also includes the ammo plant.

I Imagine they have filled some spots.

It was just on the news. I will stop by tomorrow also.
