Anyone know of anyone that does anodizing/refinishing of AR receivers in the southern Louisiana area? I know US Anodizing is the “go to” for AR receivers but I don’t want to risk shipping transferable M16 receivers. I know quite a few local people do Cerakote but I’m primarily interesting anodizing. Thanks

If you’re in the Baton Rouge, Livingston area call bayou gunslingers out in Denham. Cavin is the owner, super nice guy, straight shooter, and a class 3. If he can’t do it, he will know who can in this area.

There are only two anodizing businesses in the area that I am aware of, Production Anodizing in Pontchatoula, and Anode LLC in Slidell. I have had several parts done by Production with hit-or-miss results. I can't even get any of the sales people at Anode to talk to me. |

I've been down this road with quite a few 80% lowers and raw uppers. I have no problem saying that both the places you mentioned suck and are hardly considered businesses IMO. I ended the search when I found Outlaw Anodizing in Houston, TX. Flawless work and good (but not great) comms. |
