im moving from TN back to NJ for family issues
can i do updates once moving back to nj on my guns?
also anyone have an up to date 2021 complaince list?
i have 3 s&w m&p15 sport 2

also a couple of canik handguns with 18/20 round mags
few thousand rounds ammo

can i come back to nj with this and modify them there?

Off hand looks like you need to do is either ditch the stock or pin it as well as change the flash hider to brake  and pin it/weld it( there is no clear real on affixing it).

As far as the mags magblocks should be able to help you. Technically it needs to be permeant ie epoxied or riveted.  If you're planning to be here temporarily, I'd leave them with a friend and just buy some nj  compliant mags.

These changes all need to be done before crossing the state line. Like anything it's never a problem until it's a problem so take caution.

ETA: Ammo shouldn't be an issue, hollow points are illegal blah blah unless in the home or being transported to range,place of purchase or home/business. That said there is a famous case of guy who was charged with them because the police asked him to go to his mothers house in the middle of a move and he had holllow points in the trunk.
