In my PD it's taking months due to the shear volume of applications unfortunately.

Unless PD has history on stalling FA stuff, it is most likely taking a longer time on the state's end.

Varies from town to town. My friend got his in 2 weeks in January. But I have heard of taking months for some.

All depends on your town. I've waited as long as 3 months.

You do know you have to go in to the PD and pay for the permits before the PD actually starts processing.
