even without a weapon don't happen to end up in NJ with a hollow point bullet in your truck. First the law specify bullet not ammo, so just the projectile is enough to get prosecuted (a woman has been prosecuted and convicted for a key chain) and it's a count per projectile. So if you reload and drive around with a box of 100 in your car, you'll get a 100 count indictment. It's so crazy here that the police export a loop in the law, that doesn't cover moving, so you can own them in your home, you can transport them to a range, you can take them home from the range or store, but you can't move them from home to home. They've arrested people based on this.
Like the poster above I can't wait to leave this shit hole state, I guess whomever buys my home is going to have figure out what to do with boxes of hollow point projectiles in my reloading room.
