.... "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate"......
....but I haven't seen a mole this big in a while....  Got a call this morinng from my brother, the phostoxin hasn't worked and he wanted me to try trap it.... we're gonna need bigger a bigger boat ttrap....

I've honed my skills over many a battle with the subterranean devils.... every season I generally bag 2 or 3 of the blighters..
Tried gassing them with Carbon Monoxide (car exhaust - been removed from YouTube  ), injecting worms with Strychnine, slating the runs and digging them out and finally expended quite a few tubes of Phostoxin on them....
But by far the best method is the wire snare trap, have to use the same dirty earthy gloves to bury the trap, but....... Last one from my garden....... battle of "Slide Hill" to commence tomorrow 
ETA: Tried another method once when I saw a hill forming, but couldn't get penetration with No. 3's..

I've had a couple with a spade before.
Softly walk over to a mound about 3.30 pm, at about 4 ish they seem to come up. As soon as you see the earth on top of the mound start to move twat the mole with a slicing spade chop, very satisfy when it works.
