Went there yesterday with my brother as he wanted to go and do something, and had never been there before.
As well as all the usual airplane and land warfare display goodness, there is now a new display,
The Parachute Regt Museum has a new home, and as 16 Air Assault Brigade is just down the road and the new home of Airborne Assault forces, Duxford was chosed as the new site.
The display fetaures a superb collection of medals including at least 4 or 5 VC's including H Jones and the other one from the Falklands, one from Afghanistan and two IIRC from WW2.
It also has displays of all their kit from their inception in the 40's through to modern times in Afghanistan.
There are also displays and histories from all the campaigns including Bloody Sunday, Warrenpoint, Falklands and the Gulf etc.
Worth a visit
