If, like me, you have an iffy signal other than when stood in a window or in the garden then this may well be the answer to your problems....

Bought mine from Vodafone for £50 (must be on contract to get it for this price) and now have full signal (including 3G) out to about 30 yards around the house...

Basically, its a signal booster that connects to your router and diverts calls via the internet, when calls are made within range of the unit (so obviously a router and broadband are essential)....

Cou can have up to 32 people listed on the user list (stored online) and so far the bandwidth is minimal...

I think the other networks will follow suit very shortly, but , for once, Bravo Vodafone..

My initial experience and background checks made me view the device through "rose tinted glasses"

Not so now!!!

At the moment, it is deemed a LEMON..... after a few days of superb signal around the home it has turned into a knightmare.....

Basically, if the unit goes into "standby" as it seems to do every few hours.... all signal is lost..... but then , when it decides to work again, it doesn't respnd until a manual reset is performed...

In the meantime, texts are buffered and not relayed and voicemails abound

The idea is a sound one, but as a wise friend said to me "emergent technology has to be near perfect or the market will turn its back!" ....  like as a t**d at a pool party..
