Hi Guys

Where do you buy bits for your AR15's? I know Midway UK have quite a lot of stuff, but I am just interested what other online retailers people use.

Either the Stateside ones or people I know personally in the business here. Tend not to deal with the online Midway types. Nothing personal it's just they tend to be more expensive and less accessible when advice or recommendations are needed.

Our US friends have so much choice don't they. It's just a shame that we get hit for the tax and import duty. I did get my Eotech from the States though.

Tax and Import Duty are part of life, problem usually is trying to get the US sites to ship stuff. I don't generally have a problem though.

All depends what sort of stuff you're looking for. People like myself regularly have stuff coming in. No tat though, I leave that to others.

Example: I had someone who shall remain nameless for now come round last night and ask me to fit a crappy airsoft part to his BAR-22. He soon got shown the door

It was something not dissimilar to this

I did wonder why someone would trust their £1500+ BAR-22 to a £9 piece of cak made out of monkey metal in Taiwanaland or Hong Kong or some place.

Imagine if it failed and all that Bradley Arms goodness went crashing into the concrete floor.

God forbid but one of the triggerguard ears might just get broken off or something

Well what can I say, I wanted it to match the front QD sling mount & sling I've got.

So crack on larfin boys I can take it.

Btw Mark thanks for fixing my cack handed attempt at pimping my rifle, I'm a happy chappy again.

I haven't got any YHM crap. I'm a LaRue, Troy, Vltor, Magpul, Tangodown or Bradley Arms sort of guy; definately no YHM, FAB, CAA or Frobus crap here.

Absoloutely. I have a few quality items scattered through my collection. I could drop some names, but I won't. They are there because they were the best or only option at the time.
