Hi All,
Was just reading shooting sports article on the new 1911 LBP when I noticed Lower mill also stock the .50 Beowulf upper. Has anyone got one or tried one. They look kind of intresting.

Looks like we can expect a Perma Ban on on all things whispery and AR styley for the 2010 season of Gallery rifle.....

The (orrible blancmange pink) website declares that a review is being carried out on "calibre and type of firearms" to be permitted.

Interesting. Well if they ban AR's they will have to ban LBR's/LBP's ('cos the Times & the Met say they're illegal anyway), all the AR lookalike kits, Enfield's, Mauser KR 98's , AI's, Remy 700's on a tactical build, military derived shotguns and any other miltary derived centrefire, underlevers (as extensively used by the US Army in days gone by)........and about 60% of the stuff on sale at the Phoenix.......

...........so, spud guns at 2 yards it is then......................

If they did go this route, with just the AR's even, I'm not swapping my AR's, I just won't shoot gallery and stick to the club comps,.....their loss.

Don't hold out much hope, look who's sponsoring the site

Calibre and "type" eh ??

So, it is a black rifle issue disguised as a calibre issue then !!

I've fired a semi Beuowulf when I worked in the States, recoil was like a mild 12 gauge, I hit everything I was aiming at, apart from that it's just an AR with a bigger hole in the end, which makes a bigger hole in your pocket  I've also had a few pops with some of RPA's stuff, pretty impressive, you wouldnt regret buying one. (After getting over parting with so much cash )
