Please guys even if you cannot understand that the sight will not fit any airgun do not get foul mouthed at me asking for a checkable document either ...I know it is not a leglislated requirement but it is for my own peace of mind and the fact that I want it to go to a registered shooter.

N.B  Including their restricted sale bit ...I feel the same about the reasons for the restrictions , so it will only go to a registered shooter  

( Fleabayers or such  associated parasites don't even think your going to get a look in.)

I am not interested in those of you who brag that you can buy cheaper  ( AS ..  IF   !  )  nor those who do not agree with my conditions.  It suits me fine if you exclude yourselves from participation or cant reach the door handle.

I am selling this faboulous rifle scope because I have never got to use it due to a worsening spinal injury condition.I brought it backmyself from the USA via Canada  and after having to import special mounts to fit it to my hunting rifle, my injury over took my shooting .  I have now sold my rifles and only have this last scope for sale .

Due to the nature of this magnificent scope it's the full Monty as shown on  A T N's  site nothing more but also nothing less .  

For those interested ...   it is approx 18 inches lens to lens and 20 inches end to end with the sunshade .....

I will only sell to someone who has a valid firearms certificate and only then after my checking it out with the issuing police force.

Someone is going to get a smashing piece of kit , it is a civil version of a US scope used in IRAQ etc

It  is sold with ATN's  7/8  mounts only  not the mounting arrangement in the picture

I had difficulties getting it here into the UK because there are US government restrictions on sales

I paid 476 $ US for it ( £274 ENGLISH) and about the same in taxes  US & Canada etc.but you don't stand a chance of getting one in the UK for much less than £750  

 As you can see there is a reserve on it and it is £ 250 by cheque cleared by my bank I will not release the sight till the cheque clears nor will I  let you have it with out seeing  your FAC if you come in person to collect it .

Should you want it sent to you it will be in a hard woodenbox specially made by me and sent by courrier to the registered address that is on the FAC

The packaging , insurance , registration and carriage will be assessed upon your winning  the bid and be added to the final bid price

Personal collection could be arranged   ..... but is only offered after the cheque clears my bank

A: Most certainly upon checking out your Fac with the issue force For the bid and any carriage charges and insurance and obviously your check clearing my bank for the full ammount . A: I fully agree there is no legal req for a Fac to buy a scope but my asking has reduced the number of dreamers asking silly questions. I would like it to go to some one who actually shoots rather than a get rich quick fleabayer. A: I had set a 7.62 aside for it but never got to fire it in field use because of my spinal injury prob getting worse. It has 7/8 dove tail mounts and I also had a similar ATN scope with a 5/8 to 7/8 dovetail B Square adaptor. I bagged many foxes with it . The rings for the compensator side of things are common USA calibers but a simple zero at 150 or 100 mtrs will let you understand that it is not a normal scope that alters point of aim every time you alter the magnification . The cams alter the point of aiI ask you to look at the Atn site and in the left side look at daytime scopes , look for this one and you will get a full speec. The cams are stated as for the following caliber groups. .22-250, .308, .30-.06, 7mmMag, .270, .300Win Mag .. I think that it would suit your rifle but obviously I cannot make any guarantee as you may need high lift rings or an adaptor to make your mount up to the 7/8 dovetail . Regards David

A: Hi Fleabag ... think what could happen if a crook or religious maniac etc. with a stolen high power rifle , or a crook / religious maniac etc. with an illegally held rifle got their hands on the scope and decided to make a name for them selves ....it is a sniper quality scope and I for one would definitely not like any such person to get it .. I'd rather it go to a proffessional game keeper or culler who knows how to use the instrument and who has the ability and sense to do it safely. I know there arn't any UK legal restrictions for selling or holding on this type of scope ( they will come just like those on sound moderators did ). Regards Dave

A: Shame on you Mark you should have visited ATN's site But just in case you really could'nt find it the tube diameter is 30 mm ... It lets in a lot of light so the scope is idesal for dusk and lamping at long ranges

A: Hi Lee, I only want a registered Firearnms holder to get the scope to stop it going some one with a STOLEN OR ILLEGALLY HELD FIREARM high power rifle and doing a ANOTHER DUNBLANE BUT FROM RANGERS UP TO 1000 METRES. I know there is no legal obligation for it here in the UK ( SOON WILL BE THOUGH ) but with a sniper quality scope in the wrong hands is more than I want to know about. Far better for it to go the a game keeper or culling proffessional ... I sleep easier that way Regards Dave.
