Been a while since I shot at Millpool. About 3 years.
Range has the biggest fire trench I've ever seen at 300yds.
Hard dealing with the sheep shit though

One thing for all the other members....that range is only about 2 miles from Fat Bob's lair.

And as I've said before....it's nice to see our members out using their rifles on our ranges.
That's what it's all about

I deny your reality!  Show me a picture of that mythical Beast of Bodmin!

ANdy

Very difficult  as he's a stealthy f**ker, even for his mythical size.
I will endeavour though

I remember fat Bob shooting at millpool last year, he can't shoot prone as he's unable to get up again, so he made his way into the fire trench. Yep you guest it, it took 4 fucking people to get him out
At one point we called the SAR chopper from RNAS Culdrose, they refused to come as Bob exceeded the maximum lifting weight of the Merlin.

A.R.M.S 40 buis.

Millpool (bodmin Moor)is a 100 - 600yd range, from 200yd and back there are fire pits primarily used by the mil. They are bloody useful in the wind. all in all a good range.
There is a 100yd range at Zelah soon to be increased to 200yd.

Nice, real nice.

Remember doing an exercise walking from somewhere in Wales down to Lands end, we 'Tabbed' across Exmoor & Dartmoor, I can still feel the blister's.

As I said, nice rifle that is. I'm off back to the RE-HA clinic this afternoon, and that with our snow, we have had 50cm's+ in the last 24hrs and it's still snowing...

Toe.
