Wondering if any of our German members have any info ref Frankfurt airport's closure from the Volcano? I'm scheduled to fly in Monday....everything that I can find here is a day or to old. Thanks in advance.

Howdy pdm,

Unfortunately at the moment no one knows, things are not looking good as the news was telling us today that this ash/cloud is rather persistent, and rain will not wash it out of the atmosphere etc etc

.

I'd keep checking the news, contact the carrier with whom you have booked your flight, they should have actual details.

you won't fly on monday, that is for sure..

Half damn Europe is a NO FLY ZONE atm....

Well it would appear that some would rather put profits before safety, as they are planning to re-open the airports at 20:00hrs CET

.
