The Hilton Garden would be the better choice but it may be over your price range. Other than that, just pick your favorite brand. Its a decently safe, if slightly ran down, part of town. Good dining options nearby, as most of the dining options are nearby.

Vehicle break ins have been on the rise lately but not necessarily in that part of town. I'd bring in guns/armor/nods/etc every night if you weren't going to anyways.

Please let us know how the weekend/course goes. I hadn't heard of it until you posted about it. I couldn't make it that weekend anyways but it sounds interesting. Maybe they can be enticed back at a later date.
