I posted a thread in GD about this.  Everybody here should take a few minutes (it took like 5 minutes of my time) to call our two senators and house rep.  See how to call them here:

I didn't say much, but politely informed them that I am opposed to any new gun control legislation.  I spoke with two people and left a voicemail for the other.  I was saddened that I got right through to a person so quickly.  It means that not many people are calling.  Make your voice heard.  Even if they are already on our side (I don't know if they are or not in this matter), they could use the encouragement.  If they are on the fence or against us, make sure that they know that we oppose new gun control legislation and we vote!

Don't forget to call the president's number, too!
