I was amazed that they even had more than 2 to begin with. How big is hono and how many hospitals were there to begin with?

HMC was probably among the least used hospitals... sucks for trauma patients out of Ewa or the west side though.

Oahu alone has about a million people.  There are several.

on the west side theres is Waianae hospital and up north there is Kahuku but they are small regional hospitals.  Closer in there is Wahiawa in central Oahu and Castle on the windward side.  In Metro Honolulu theres Pali Momi, Kuakini, Kaiser, Straub and Queens

Forgot to add tripler but that is only for military and Kapiolani with is a Pediatrics and womens hospital

That was what we called it in the Coast Guard. I just use it on the itraweb because I can't spell very good. Sorry.
