Really nice! I was thinking about it when it first came up. Then i figured i could get a registered receiver and at least 2-3k worth of ammo to go with it.

Too many ideas floating around and projects im trying to get built. It would be really fun if i had a 2300yrd range and actually had the ability to shoot the far.

So what makes the 50 bmg 'antiquated?" Goes subsonic at 600 yards?

For about the same price you could get an Anzio 20mm bolt action. I mean come on, a 20mm bolt action! I dunno WTF i would do with it. But then WTF do i do with all the other random shit i buy.

Top Ten on the military channel voted the .408 the "greatest sniper rifle of all time". What ever that means.

Out of an 82A1 (29" barrel) its still moving in excess of 1100fps at 1500M
Out of an 82A1CQ (25" barrell) its still moving in excess of 1000 fps at 1500M

This guy doesnt know his ass from his elbow as far as ballistics

If he gave it to me I'd sell it and buy another .50 with a boatload of ammo

Played a lot with a 20mm Lahti and while neat I'd stick with the .50 as I can shoot it more, neat accessories, etc.

I could get an M82A1 and a number of mags and plenty of .50 to have a good time.

I could buy around 159,000 rounds of tokarev and shoot for the rest of
my life. Or, get 300,000 rounds of .22 and do bag dumps till my fingers
fall off.

regardless of the price and the anti .50 coolaid. i still think its a pretty badass rig and i wouldnt pass up the opurtunity to let off a round or 2
