Good or Bad news first?
From the Grapevine to be release new or in the works Made in USA SIG 550 series rifles. Maybe next year Bad news more money from my pockets

they were saying possibly this year, and a price tag of around $2000. kinda steep, hopefully its cheaper and mags are readily avialable. that would be a big selling point.

My guess is that it will be LEO only, but I could be wrong
I would scrape together 2K for a 550 as long as they werent Kali ready (fixed mag) or something else like that |

LEO models are already avalible and still improtable whole . Since there was already an importable model pre 89'. not much reengineering will be done. Just the nessecary US parts. every other part can still be imported.

If Sigarms manufactures the reciever and barrels here along with maybe the FCG or furniture it shouldnt cost too much.

Understood. I was mostly joking. I know how you feel. I have 80+ AR mags and am looking to buy more (HK High Reliability). I am going to buy some HK mags, upgrade my 1st tier mags, and sell the rest off. Wish I could get the preban prices for them but got to cut my losses. I'm sure someone out there is waiting for SHTF and zombie attacks could use them.
They might even make nice stocking stuffers... |

As what Ken said it will have the internal of the SIG, but will work with AR magazines and AR M4 telestock.
That AR stock is a real turn off. |

Why not just buy a AK in .223 with the M4 stock adapter then? I think Ill spend my money on the FN FS2000 instead. |

the stock is collapsible, but its not confirmed that its a m4 stock. it might look something like the Vtlor stocks, and it might also be able to be folded.
sig40, dont just believe the one shop here in anchorage. take a peek at the sigforum's, they supposedly have the 'scoop'. |

Guys
Its not worth a pissing match You either like Ken or you don't, your choice You either buy guns from him or you dont, again your choice I choose to buy guns from him for one reason, and it isnt his witty charm or warm personality. Personally, I get along with Ken fine, though YMMV We should know the specs of the Sig in the next week or so. At that point we can began the debate of whether it is a worthy gun or not. Chris |

I have never Met Ken . I did have a raport with him on THR a few times when the CZ Rami came out last year or the year before .
I thought he was a riot on THR and was sad to see he got banned for something . |
