With the recent importation of these fine MP5 type pistols, have you seen any in Iowa?

Update:  I got one.

Nary a one, but with the show circuit shut down that's to be expected.

I think Hart Bros in Mason City had one recently, not sure if they still do.

I like PTRs.  They are little easier to SBR than a SP5.

Easier to convert to F/A as well

ours have been really reliable, and I prefer to buy US made when I can

Stewie how many rounds have you put through yours so far and any issues with it or the mags?  Any guess on how fast the cyclic rate might be and if the mags have any trouble with keeping up?  Thanks!

it took about 300 rounds to break it in - and i would guess there are 1000 rounds through it now. No issues after the original break in. I would guess shooting semi there would be zero issues at all even before the break in period.

no issue with the mags - it takes our mp5 mags just fine as well

its on par with a standard mp5 cycle rate wise

eta: we will have both at ofasts at the end of the month - ill get some video from it.

Facebook vids from ofasts - a good one showing the rpm of the little mp5

It was a great show, as busy as we could handle

The bar was easily the most rented gun of the weekend

I bought the SP5 at Farro's, I put a little over 1k through it at the princeton range last week. Mostly shot subsonic through my Silencerco Hybrid but a couple hundred were supersonic. Not a single hiccup, ran great and was more accurate than I was expecting. The trash everyone left in the range didn't stand a chance .
