Shooting related but not AR.
Decided to completely rebuild a 1911; as in bought a Rock Island and stripped ALL parts off of it and replacing everything.
Hand fitting, checkering the front strap and main spring housing, a little bit of an undercut of the trigger guard, extended beavertail.
The whole shebang.
Piece would be 2" x 2" x 3".

Will have to fit the barrel hood to the slide and think I want a filing jig made up for that part.
Of 4 holes, 2 would be .75" diameter the long way, one would only be 1.25" deep; other 2 would be 1/4-20 for set screws.
Catch is, I would want it heat treated so it could be used as a "file to" jig/surface.

So, does anyone here have the ability and interest in making this up?
I have a 3D model and blueprints.
I do not have the ability to post them up for easy looking.

Thanks,
Greg
