I got home last Friday after being gone for most of a month and found out that Poweshiek County Sportsman's High Power shoot was Sunday afternoon. Further, found out my oldest grandson (just turned 13) was "available," so....

Quick took him out and "checked him out" on an AR-15 and Sunday off we went.

Mike P. took him under his wing and showed him how to compete in a match. Grandson had a great time, and Mike did a great job. I'm so thankful such places and people exist to further out sport. I think he liked the AR too- another convert!
