Started out 2019 with a bang! Up today at 07:55, shot this forty pound plus Iowa male who had just spooked my three Dachshunds, he was dead at 07:58. Shot with 55gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claw, at 100 yards (walking right by my backstop), Dove Gunsmithing mounted VX-II at 4.5x on a 223Rem Ruger American Ranch Rifle set in a Boyds Laminated Stock with a Timmy Trigger.

Nice job...and efficient too since you bagged it 3 minutes after getting up. I'd still be wandering around looking for my fuzzy slippers to slip on.
