Its just outside of Waukee, west of Des Moines. I was a member many years ago but now live in Ames. At the time I was a member it was strictly a shotgun club. Don't know if they ever expanded beyond that or not.

It's sad that I live in Des Moines and don't know where these clubs are!

I wish I could find a place like the Izzack walton league in Ames...

Indianola has an Izaak Walton League as does Ankeny. Range facilities aren't quite as nice as Ames (I'm prejudiced here, I'm a member at Ames) but there not bad. Also Des Moines Rifle and Revolver CLub out at Van Meter has an wonderful faclity if you're into hi-power.
