Its the 100th anniversary for Selfridge this year so it should be a good time.   The Thunderbirds will be there this year, an F35 and F22 too.

Huh, haven't heard of this. How does it compare to willow run? I might just hop in the car and go for a drive over that way. Whats 3 hours each way for a free air show anyways

I've never been to the Willow Run show so I can't say.  They're supposed to have a bunch of different food trucks for it to, even one that does Israeli food.

I didn't hear about that and I'm on the CDDAR team.  I'm a 135 guy though.

My buddy has a house in a flight path. He'll miss it as he's heading west to the "New Way To Go"  this weekend for some shooting sports

I know, no black rifles, but I have a bunch in stock though.

I'm planning to take my boat out and watch from the bay on Sunday. The weather doesn't look that great for Sat.

I was hoping to take the boat out tonight and watch the fireworks (at 10:45PM) from the bay, but there's a small craft advisory due to the waves being kicked up from 15+ MPH winds all day today.

Sitting at the show now.  In the General Admission area near "Chalet 33".

We went, was hoping the Army
Aviation Heritage guys would be there because I really want to get a ride in a Huey Cobra.

Crowds were small, traffic in and out was great, the only dissapointment for me was not seeing the F35 hover before we left right after the Thunderbirds were done. Didn't see a YF22 fly either, but the F35 was a treat. Good show all around, got the shit burned out of me.

Had a great time with the wife.  My son was there with his Army Reserve unit.

My phone dies just as the F-100/ Mig was flying so I missed pics of them (dammit).  The WW II planes were flying just as we got there.

Drove down from TC for the show today, only disappointment was the F-4 was a no-show. It was a first for me seeing the OV-1 and F-100 fly, so that was a treat. The P-40N was my favorite of the WWII fighters that flew. As always Yankee Lady looked amazing, and the light during the early demos was perfect for photos from the viewing area.

The F22s are crazy to watch!!  I really liked seeing the B17 too.   You guys check out the Marines set up?   They had a Milkor grenade launcher, a Barrett .50 and an M110 out for everyone to check out.

Just a sampling of the ones I took.  Sure glad we don't need to get film developed anymore.
