Greetings, MI HTF!

My brother decided to buy his first AR a few days ago. (Finally!) Anyway, he was delayed, now for two days. They're telling them that if they don't get definitive word that he can pick the rifle up on Saturday, but that "never happens."

He is as pure as the driven snow. Any idea what the hang up could be?

Mebbe, but not that common. Also put his SSN on the form.

Over 50? Sometimes they have to go back and double check paper records. I have a coworker that is delayed every time.

I get delayed every time, with or without SSN. I even have a CPL , but some FFL's want to CYA
