Steve is top-notch and you will learn more about yourself and your weapon system than you ever thought possible.  While a great trainer, he still considers himself a student of the art and is continually seeking additional training himself that he can add to his repertoire.

Got to say Michigan trainer teaches all the high speed stuff you need to know, what works what doesn't and what is BS is pretty much left out

As having taken a number of Steve's classes I always walk away having learned somthing new. You'd be hard pressed to find an instructor {thats local} that can teach you for the rates he charges and know your getting top notch training. And with people looking for more advanced classes and trying to keep household budgets in line, Steve and his crew are the ppl to go to.

See, I can talk'em up all night long but your gonna have to try it for yourself Ziti. I know you will not be dissapointed.

I also highly reccomend Steve. I'm an instructor and he's the guy I go to to keep my skills sharp and learn new things.

I'm also running an Intermediate/Advanced Defensive Pistol class on Oct 28. I don't know if it meets what you are looking for though. My class is designed to pick up where the standard NRA PPITH class that most people take to get a CCW leaves off. To give you an idea, we're starting with the five-step holster draw and going from there to include malfunction clearances, shooting on the move, etc. This might be stuff you've all covered in previous classes.

Contact Steve through his website to see when he's offer his next class. If your interested in my Oct 28 class, PM me through here.

He's going to need a new hat, but Steve is an asset to our area and will give you a challenging day as well as ideas and drills for continuing improvement during your regularly scheduled shooting activities.

Another vote for steve.

I particularly enjoyed the hood drill:

I'd be interested in this course if I can fit it in the schedule.

Hosts several classes annually. Farnum,Rogers,Rangemaster, Ned Christiansen plus the inhouse stuff.

Kinda slow right now, but will pick up in the spring.

I thought Pat's class didn't go this year?

Anyway, Triad's been GTG for hosting the traveling trainers locally.  Cain/Tarani/Awerbuck/Rogers/Jeans/Reitz/Vickers...

Interesting thread.

I want some Carbine 101 training next year. This could be the ticket... I have been racking my brain trying to figure out which big-name class to take, but I'll consider in-state classes too...

Pat's class got combined with another on the east side of the state, due to low sign ups.

Dunno what's in the works for next year yet.
