Just a few weeks ago I had a rifle for sale here on the EE. A fellow emailed me almost everyday for a week on the SMLE I had. This guy kept trying to get me to lower the price. Finally we worked out a deal. He said that he would send me a check and his Illinois firearns Id card. WAIT A MINUTE!! I emailed him back and said I needed a ffl or a c&r license to ship interstate. He said he has bought guns on the net before without having to do that, and just as abrubtly said he didn't want the rifle now. What do you think?

Sounds shady.  You mention legalities and he backs out of the deal.
