The girlfriend and I drove down to Cabelas today for something to do. While there, I decided to check on Wolf 55 grain .223. It was marked $67 per 500 and I decided to grab a couple 500 round packs.

When we checked out the receipt was much less than I was expecting. Looking the receipt over, I saw that they only charged me $83 & change for the 1000 rounds of ammo.

I immediately headed back to the ammo department and grabbed another 1000 rounds and headed for a register. I asked them to double check the price. Before it was over they were looking at my first receipt and rang the other 2 500 round packs.

When they ring up the sku number and then punch in the quantity as 2, the receipt shows a new sku number, quantity 1, at the $83 price.

Beats me why. They had every opportunity to catch a mistake, but they said it was right.

I ended up with 2000 rounds for about 160 bucks. Sure wish I could have afforded more.

Fortunately for me, my machine gun gobbles that stuff up like candy.  

Im still not convinced they just didn't mess up somewhere.

Oh well, like I said......they had ample opportunity to catch a mistake if it was there.

They ring sku # 020011616 and quantity as 2.

Receipt shows this but does not show a price. The receipt ALSO shows a sku # of 020012908 with a price of $83.29
