There was a lot of buzz about the AWB restrictions being lifted, but people still seem to be in shock a little. The magazine sellers are in a bind. Many of them still have their high-cap mags priced at the old "ban" prices. One dealer said that some manufacturers have given a 4-6 week ship time for new ones. We may have to wait a few months for prices and selection to be good.

Well, I paid 25.00 each for brand new LEO/Gov Mags and 26.00 for a preban mag for my Glock 23. I think I did pretty good. I bought a totoal of 5 mags and will buy more when the new ones come out. That way I have more with out markings just incase michigan makes any stupid laws that say something about leo mags.

Yea, the Glock owners were in luck. It looks like they prepared ahead of time for the ban going away. Bushmaster is offering their 30 and 20 rd. mags for $20 on their website. I think Bushmaster and DPMS were the only commerical mags that are truly mil-spec. One of the gov't contractors makes them and they just put their own floorplate on.

I thought the show kind of sucked.
 Lots of overpriced stuff. I had better luck and buys at my local gunshops in Muskegon. |
