Is a folding stock on a Rem 870 illegal in Michigan?

If not, anybody got a used one?

Thanks!

If you go to the State web page you can find the dimensions that are legal for that configuration.  I used to know, but I forgot what is is exactly.

On a standard sized 870, a folding stock is perfectly legal in michigan.....Yes, they look cool.

I had a top folder on both my 870 and 590 at one point but took 'em off, because after about 5 rounds of 00 you don't
want to shoot the thing anymore. No kind of recoil absorbtion, and watch out for the lack of a proper cheek weld- the  plastic edge will cut or at the least sock you in the face everytime you try to aim and fire a round.
A comfortable compromise between a Pgrip folder/Standard stock is a Pistol grip buttstock(Benelli M1 style), which I have replaced my folders with.
