 My dishwasher broke and the guy I used to get to fix it has retired. If you know anybody let me know. I hate to pick a stranger out of the phonebook.

Have you called the Sears repair center? I believe they fix most brands.
I might be mistaken, but give em' a call. Better than picking someone at random.
