I'd like everyone to know that the Guns 'N More on kingston pike is one of the best shops Ive ever been to in this state.  I was in there earlier fondling all the surplus war rifles and AK's that they have.  Most of the shops Ive been to couldnt care less if your a paying customer or not, but the guys in there gave me the time of day even though I told them I was a student and couldnt purchase a firearm today.  Its great to find a fun shop where the people there are more interested in the hobby itself than worrying if your "gonna buy something or get out."  Should anybody need advice or want a good selection of rifles (and suppressors :)  I have to recomend this shop.  For any AK enthusiasts there are 2 bulgarian underfolders and 4pack 74 mag pouches for $30.  +1 to Guns 'N More.

Good to hear you found a good gun shop. We have one here locally that at least Tesnevo and I like. The Reloaders Bench is a pretty good place. I used to like On Target until they went to the "Buy something or get out" attitude. God help you if you wanted to trade something.

Knoxvilles best store! I couldn't tell you of a more friendly gun store with a great selection also. I was there tonight picking up a new toy!

Hey Guys.....BigJohn here. Anyone got a phone # and some directions for Guns N' More ? I have a client in Greeneville, Tn. , so I'm ridin' through K-town about every other week. Got to experience Coal Creek Armory last week and loved it. Thanks for any help..... John

killthewabbit69,

Unfortunately, due to the construction, you almost can't get there.  But take the papermill exit.  Here's a map.  Call them at (865) 584-1100 and they will get you there.

They do have good stuff.  And I think Predator Custom (the local AR guys) have their shop there.

As a general question, anybody know if Coal Creek rents weapons for thier firing range?  Ive got a few friends who are looking to get into firearms here on campus and I cant keep my own where I live.

They sure do. They have a fairly large selection of guns for rent including Class III.

I agree, both Guns and More and Coal Creek are tremendous stores for tactical/CCW carry guns and items. Each time I walk into either place, sales people immediately give me their attention.
And believe me, the folks in both places know their stuff.
G and M was the first in the area to produce a KelTec PLR 16 pistol which I gladly snapped up.
They have another establishment in the back called Predator, who will build you any type of AR that you can imagine!
Ladies shoot free on Tuesday nights at Coal Creek, I believe. A big plus.
