I have a DPMS kit coming that I'm planning to assemble as a gift for my daughter.  I'm putting out feelers to see if there's any arfcommers in the Flathead that either have build tools they can loan or better yet give me pointers on their use and the assembly process.  Can pay with beer of your choice...

I can help you.  It takes about an hour if the upper is already assembled, 1 1/2 hours if we have to assemble the upper.  I can also install a rear take-down spring retainer (set screw) and a trigger over-travel stop screw if you like.  If you have a standard trigger I recommend you get a J P Enterprises reduced spring set, and I usually polish the hammer and trigger.

Fantastic.  I would just need to do a basic build.  I'll be in touch once all of my parts come in.
