I'd like to get my license in the next few months, anywhere locally I can go for questions and to take the test?

I've got my ticket but don't have a rig yet.
ARRL has listing of upcoming exam dates & locations.
I took mine at the law library at BYU.
There is also a regular exam at a police station on the west side of the SL valley.

If you're looking for a book to study, I recommend Now You're Talking, it can usually be found at any local Barnes & Noble.

I'll probably try to get my General class later this year.
