What is the price? The Defensive Handgun class would seem the place to start. Depending on what the price is. OK, I did not look far enough. $100 seems pretty reasonable for an 8 hour class. Count me in. Next Defensive Handgun one is on April 16th. |

Looks like I'd have to take Sunday night off from work, I think it would be worth it though. After that I'd really like to take the rifle class, its a two day deal in August (IIRC)

I would have to be talked into the rifle course. I would want to take the handgun first, as it would likely be the weapon used in defense. (CCW)

Very interested, price seems about right. I paid that for NRA Defensive Handgun. No go for me until after the end of April, due to that pesky board certification. Afterwards, I'd love to spend some of my shooting budget on training.

I havent talked to the guy yet. I found out about him from a friend who brought me his flyer from Sportsmans.
I'd really like to take the rifle course, but would probably get into the handgun one first. |

It was on there, it looks like its gone now
 Too bad the rifle class seems to be only offered once this year. If we take the handgun class maybe we could find out more on the rifle class...

Yes I am alive...I can still use the new baby excuse. Once you get a hold of this guy let us know what he says as far as availability. I think I remember bringing this up the last time I joined you guys for a shoot. Very good to see someone local is offering these classes.

This guy that offers the classes called me last night after I sent him an email. I am going to his CCW class this weekend as a refresher course. I told him we had a handful of guys that would be interested in taking the defensive rifle course. He IS going to offer it this summer. Apparently he is working out the details with another instructor from Oregon that offers a more intensive class and it would be taught by both of them. They are still working on the schedule for this because they are working around Fish and Game's schedule...the class is taught at Blacks Creek range. We are going to discuss this class and the defensive handgun and advanced handgun courses this coming weekend after the CCW class. Sound off if you are interested.
