I have been wanting to replace the barrel and have some other work done on one of my bolt guns. I was looking to get a Shillen or equivalent barrel, have everything molycoated, get a trigger job and have a H-S precisions stock installed for about $1K. I was just getting ready to do this and the local shop that does that kind of stuff just went out of business. Can anyone reccommend a good shop somewhere in UT?

I have been thinking about Christensen Arms, but their barrels alone cost $1,000.

Barlows is the only one I know of.

Consequently, for those intersted, I talked to them at the last gun show and they quoted me a price of $90 to remove a welded brake and replace it with a flash hider (that I provide).  As long as he didn't need to repark the barrel.
