The wife and I are wanting to move out of the  very liberal Northwest and to a more conservative part of the USA. We have heard good things about Montana and would like to hear from real people, not the chamber of commerce, about the state. I was thinking that I would like to live in the northern part of the state as I like the cold and would love to have snow.
We would like to buy a large piece of acreage and we have heard prices are better there.
We ant to experince snow in the winter not just RAIN.
What part of the sate are better than others?
What is the economy/job market like in the state?
How are the schools in Momtana; my wiife is a teacher and she really doesn't want to find a new profession?
Most importantly, what are the gun laws like?
I am looking for any and all information you guys can or what to provide me. We are thinking that we would like to move in the next year or two. Thanks for all your help!!!!

Well, I am from Great Falls. Montana is a state on the grow. First and foremost, the gun laws are some of the best in the nation. I asume you will want access to mountains and such? And you want snow? Hmmm.... You may want to around Bozeman and Belgrade. Beautiful area and people. I went to the university there. I am sure your wife and you could find oppurtunities in that area for employment. Montana just like other midwest states, produce the hardest working kids around. The schools are great. I am a proud graduate of CMR in Great Falls and that school more than prepared me for post-secondary life. Hope this helps.
