https://www.oregonlegislature.gov/bills_laws/ors/ors166.html Scroll down to ORS 166.250 Condensed version here (note, this isn't an actual OR.gov website): https://oregon.public.law/statutes/ors_166.250 Basically, a handgun can't be readily accessible. So either in the trunk, or if in the passenger compartment, in some sort of "locked" container, which could include the glove box or center console if it can be "locked". No mention of the ammo? |

If the handgun is in your trunk, does it have to be in a locked container?
Also, is Oregon open carry for an out of state resident? |

Iirc, when going hunting or fishing concealed carry is permitted. But a 2 day license and go fishing…
