My daughter has landed a job in Mulino, and is looking for housing that would be close enough for a commute.

She can’t afford much, she will only have her income.

Any leads would be appreciated

Canby, Molalla, Woodburn, even Oregon City would all be pretty easy drives to Mulino, and more housing options.

yeah, I lived in the area over the years, problem is a lot of people in those areas still don't do craigslist or FB Marketplace.

Looks like she found a place in Beaverton, and thinks she will commute to Mulino every day, I think it will grow old quickly, but what do I know

I would talk her out of that. That's a terrible commute.

That's insane. No offense. Mt Angel, Sublimity, Silverton, just about ANYTHING out of the Metro area would be better.

AN hour + each way depending on traffic which is normally fucked through there... Ya that would suck a ton of ass.

With the Tyrant and thief in office the gas prices are doing nothing but screaming upwards.

They are putting in a huge apartment complex in Woodburn. Not where I would want to live though.

Can't imagine there is much rentable in Mulino. Or much work for that matter.

There has to be a better option than Beaverton.

That Beaverton Commute is going to be rough. I live in Tigard. Before I worked out of home office, I commuted to Wilsonville. Not a bad commute. Beaverton to Mulino is going to put her on I5 and 205, both congested by bridges during commute times. One good things is she might be going opposite direction of most of the commute, but probably note. Encourage her to not sign a long term lease, it wont take long for her to be looking for something better if the job turns out OK.

Thanks for all the reply’s and suggestions.

I told her that you all said the same thing I was telling her, but she still insisted on renting there.

She is working for a company in Mulino driving for @mazon.
